Conclusion

Nowruz is a celebration that is near and dear to my heart as an Iranian American. Despite the cultural displacement I experienced as a first generation American as a result of the diaspora following the 1979 revolution, Nowruz was an expression of cultural, ethnic, and national pride for me and many other Iranians and Iranian Americans.

 

 I sincerely hope you were able to take something from this, weather it be a newfound knowledge and appreciation of a culture that is not your own, or the inspiration to unapologetically celebrate life and light in the way millions of people across the globe have been doing for thousands of years despite revolution, displacement, and adversity.
